Vršič
Slovenia's highest road pass: 12.3 km at 6.6% from Kranjska Gora to 1611 m through 24 numbered hairpins, many of them cobbled. The first 3 km past Lake Jasna are easy; then the road climbs steadily at 7–10%.
- Start: Kranjska Gora
- Length: 12.3 km
- Elevation gain: 810 m

- The road was built in 1915 by Russian prisoners of war for the Austro-Hungarian army; the Kranjska Gora side is called Ruska cesta (the Russian Road).
- The Russian Chapel by the road remembers the prisoners killed in the avalanche of 8 March 1916.
- In 2026 Vršič returned to the Tour of Slovenia after 13 years; Florian Lipowitz won that queen stage and the race overall.
